Mixere is a free, open-source application for mixing audio files. It runs on Windows NT/2000/XP, and supports WAV, AIFF, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, Flac, and Mod audio files.

Mixere is optimized for live performance, and especially for creating live sound collage. Conceptually, it’s like a rack full of CD players connected to an automated mixer. Mixere's features include dynamic looping of audio, auto-triggering of audio, fully automated sliders, "soft" (gradual) mute/solo operations, crossfading between documents, and unlimited undo.

boris heizmann, der 2004 drei superbe tracks auf comatronic veröffentlicht hat und auch auf der compilation elektronische musik - interkontinental 3 (traum) zu finden ist, hat einen track zum aktuellen thinner release various artists - crossways (27 tracks - 163min 20sec - 230.15 MB) beigesteuert. sehr empfehlenswert das ganze.

comatronic findet man dort auch, und zwar im bisher nicht erhältlichen ogg vorbis format. das verstößt zwar gegen unsere cc lizenz,

aber wir wollen mal nicht so sein :)

dataman und ich arbeiten gerade an remixen für den finnen jarmo huhta (twile). das ganze soll ende april mitsamt den originalen als 4-tracker auf  comatronic (com12) erscheinen und den (doch schon etwas länger dauernden) winterschlaf des netlabels beenden.

dj storm (metalheadz/uk) im posthof gesehen/gehört und enttäuscht. umso besser: hive (violence, true playaz/usa). die mcs: ok. soundsgood int´l wie immer sehr fein.
